11/12/2015 @ 12:30p: Im sitting here with Gabriel and Sam. Catalina is here as well and she's sitting with Jerry now. We just came from seeing Jerry and he was falling asleep when we walked in. We spoke to him and he responded to us. He was off and on, so we decided not to disturb him and let get his rest. His vitals showed he is okay and doing well. I'm sure Gabe will continue to update. Keep the prayers and positive energy coming Jerry's way.

The time is 1:52PM. Catalina, Dan, Manisha and Gabriel have been with Jerry today. The breathing tube has been removed. They indicated Jerry is a little more responsive. Catalina says she asked him if he knows who she is and he said, "Yes". This is progress!!!
I will encourage the others to post an update.

Jerry is doing much better now. He tdied to talk to me when I said I have made his favorite food. He also tried to move around.
His vitals are good and he looks like he is going to be getting better soon.
John Morgan, Gabriel, Ronan, and Minar are here.
Gabriel, you need to go rest!

I'll go rest, I'm at the campus now. T242 is empty and I'm waiting for someone to open it.
Maybe I'll take a nap in there since it'll be just me :-)

Thursday 3:20 pm Jerry is resting. Because of snoring he was not able to take in enough oxygen so he has oxygen venturi mask on for some time. Rest all okay.
Good thing is when Mr.Morgan came to visit him I asked Jerry to turn on his left to see who is here to visit him and he turned his head to his left and opened his eyes and went back to sleep.

Thanks Manisha. I forgot to mention that one of the nurses mentioned to another nurse that he may have sleep apnea.
The oxygen mini nose over the ears hose is better than a bronchial breathing tube!!

I have contacted Jerry's sister in Germany, so they are aware of his condiiton. I have also contacted his sister in law and brother in law in California, so they too are tied into the information. They are very grateful for everyone's prayers and well wishes. They are all relieved with his improvements on Wednesday night and Thursday.

Visited him around 3:30 and he was sound asleep. He seemed more comfortable than yesterday.

I'm glad that we got someone visiting him through the day and night. Tomorrow I may not be able to make it. If I do I'll only be able to be there for an hour or so.
