Sugar, blood pressure is under control. Jerry opened his eyes just for a bit when nurse was trying to adjust him in comfortable position. At present he is calm, resting and in stable condition.

Just arrived at his room. He's sleeping peacefully. Readings on the monitors indicate a normal blood pressure and good heart rate.
I'll post a follow up on when when a nurse updates me and if there are any changes.

I talked to Dr. Nyugen who is seeing him right now and got a status update.
His blood glucose levels have been reading normal thanks to the insulin. His blood pressure is good, same with his heart rate.
I told him on what I was thinking about last night and how it dawned on me that he did complain about blurry vision and that I should of asked him about being checked out for diabetes.
I asked him if his ketones levels were ok or if they were high enough for Ketoacidosis.
He told me that is what they treated him for when he came in. In guessing it was because of his high glucose reading and causing him to have a seizure/faint.
The doctor also told me that the medications are doing their job and that they are waiting for him to wake up.
He's not on any pain medication since there are no signs of pain.
He also told me that hopefully he will start to respond more and awaken during the weekend and that if he does, he will be going home next week.
On a personal experience, when my mother had Ketoacidosis in 2012, she was unresponsive for four days until he glucose levels stabilized then she woke up a day and a half later.
I know that Jerry will be ok, my mother was in worse shape and she made it through. Jerry is in better health and is fighting like a champ.
Later on today he will see a kidney specialist as well.
Thank you all for keeping Jerry in your prayers.

Kidney doctor came in, they will take him to go get his kidney fictions checked in a while.
Care technician who came in to adjust and clear out a smaller breathing tube said that he's breathing on his own.
I got him to open his eyes and at first he didn't look at me, just looking up. When I called his name he looked straight at me.
I told him of everyone who came by and visited him, and that we all love him and care about him.

Just heard about all of this when I came in this morning as I have been out of pocket for over a week. So thankful that this was set up so I could read about Jerry. Very dear to many of us. Prayers on his behalf.

Thanks Sergio Castilleja for coming by this morning.
While Sergio was here, Jerry opened up his eyes and then smiled. Vitals are still doing good. I found out that he is ticklish on top of his right shoulder.

Jerry is off his breathing tube. They were asking for his name and he was trying to say it. He is still dozing on and off but it mainly looks like he's just really sleepy.
I tickled his forearm a little bit to wake him up, it sounded like he said "sup", I put my hand up and asked him if he could see my hand and he said "Yeah". When I showed him two fingers and asked him how many I was holding he started to fall asleep again. It's a work in progress but he's progressing really good.
As I typed this there were performing an EKG to check his heart and they will let me know how it is after the doctor reviews it.
I'll post an update when this occurs.

Neurologist came in and Jerry was responding to him, he closed his eyes on command, he wiggled his toes on both feet and he tried to stick out his tongue.

Maybe I need to bring him some chicken soup. He likes mine.

Chicken soup sounds good. Maybe he was trying to say soup instead of sup!

I was there this morning with Jerry and gave me a smile at me as Gabriel said. Anyone that can go visit should go as it's good for his recovery. I know he really appreciates us giving him support.
Thanks Gabriel for keeping us informed and for being there with Jerry.
