Jerry had his procedure yesterday (Monday), they installed 2 stents. He was extremely tired when I went to go see him after surgery. The doctor said he may need dialysis 24-36 hours after but let's pray he will not need it. They took out the balloon catheter in his arteries which is really nice to see. He was complaining of some pain before he went to bed so hopefully that does not last. He seemed really out of it and I don't think he will remember much from that procedure. If anyone is to try to go see him today keep in mind he may need lots of rest and if they do proceed to dialysis it is not a fun procedure as if any procedure is fun. :/

Yeah, I plan on going there after Wednesday so that he can rest up. Glad that I have Manisha relaying messages for me to him.
Hopefully he can eat solids on Thursday so that I can bring him a small diabetic friendly turkey plate.

I visited with Jerry for a few minutes during lunch. He had the hiccups and wasn't very comfortable, but a foot massage from Manisha helped him to relax.
They wanted Jerry to stay laying down during the day today so the vein and artery and incision they made when they put in the stent has a chance to clot and heal.
Most importantly, Jerry asked specifically for prayers from everyone, so please take a moment to pray for his comfort, recovery, and peace with his current situation.

I was going to see Jerry on Monday afternoon. I checked this site and saw that he was having the Stents procedure sometime on Monday. I decided not to go because of the surgery.
I'll now come on Friday. We've got family coming over for Thanksgiving and I've got some cooking chores to do.
I'm praying for your best possible recovery, Jerry.

Jerry is doing better right now. He had his procedure done for him to be able to go through dialysis. After dialysis he says he feels better.

Just checked in with Jerry, he is doing better. He had dinner, which he desperately needed because he was feeling really weak.Physically he is doing better but he still need the emotional support to raise his spirits and prayers from all of us to get him out of the hospital ASAP.
Fyi Nurse said, He is on a strict liquid diet indefinitely until the doctor says otherwise.

I just visited Jerry but I couldn't see him. He is resting after he had multiple visitors. For the moment the nurse is not allowing visits at this time because he needs to rest. So I'll try at another time.

Jerry was able to sit up in bed. He pulled himself up by grabbing my arms. Lifts his legs, bends his knees and pushes against my and tips me over!!!!
He wants visitors!
